Врангеля; «Французское влияние на русскую художественную школу» D. Roche; «Основание Академических художеств» С.П. Яремича; «Влияние воспитательных идей на художественную школу» С.П. Яремича; «Художества в период президентства И.И. Бецкого» С.П. Яремича; «Конференц-секретарь Академических художеств А.М. Салтыков» Б.Л. Модзалевского. Тексты сборника, преимущественно, были написаны еще до революции. В годы преобладания социологически-вульгаризаторской тенденции в советском искусствознании, это издание являлось чуть ли не единственным серьезным исследованием русского искусства XVIII века. Поражает и прекрасное полиграфическое оформление сборника, что казалось для тех лет ушедшей в России в невозвратное прошлое традицией.
Издание было выпущено небольшим тиражом и, преимущественно, рассылалось по библиотекам. Цена книги по выходе из печати составляла 200 руб., еще 50 руб. стоил переплет. Это была баснословная сумма для тех лет. Встречается редко, особенно в хорошем виде.
