Tanakh is the Hebrew name for the Jewish Scriptures, an acronym for the names of three collections of sacred texts in Judaism. It arose in the Middle Ages, when, under the influence of Christian censorship, these books began to be published in a single volume. Currently, this is not the most popular type of publication, but the word has remained in use. `Tanakhic` is called the most ancient stage in the history of the Jews in accordance with Jewish tradition.
