set of awards and documents, awarded to Starshina 2nd class Andrey Gerasimovich Pihur, squad commander of the legendary submarine "С-13", under the command of Captain Alexander Marinesko, USSR, 1943-1986, S-13 was the only submarine, which escaped in the Baltic Fleet during the Second World War. The submarine is best known for sinking of "Wilhelm Gustloff", the biggest German military transport ship. During the first campaign ((02.09.1942-19.10.1942) A. G. Pihur fired a cannon and sank Finnish ship "Hera", after what was awarded Lenin's Order (not included in the lot). For the second (01.10.1944-11.11.1944) campaign he was awarded the 2nd Class Order of the Patriotic War. For the third campaign (11.01.1945-15.02.1945) transport ship "Wilhelm Gustloff" was sunk, as well as another German military transport ship "General Steuben"was destroyed. A. G.
